Overview

ActivityShuffle (“we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy. This policy describes what information we collect when you use our website and the ActivityShuffle mobile app, and how we use it.

Information we collect

Website. We do not require an account to browse the site. If you join the launch waitlist, we collect the email address you submit so we can notify you when the app is available. If you email us, we receive whatever you include in your message.

App. The core ActivityShuffle experience is local-first. Activity preferences, favorites, history, and related app data are stored on your device. We do not require an account for core Shuffle features. If you make an in-app purchase, Apple or Google process payment information under their policies; we receive purchase entitlements needed to unlock features, not your full payment card details.

Our site may use cookies or similar technologies for basic functionality. We may add privacy-respecting analytics in the future; if we do, we will update this policy.

Waitlist emails

When you join the waitlist, your email is stored so we can send a one-time launch notification for the App Store and Google Play. We may also receive a copy of that signup at hello@activityshuffle.com. We do not use waitlist addresses for newsletters or unrelated marketing. You can ask us to remove your address anytime by emailing support.

How we use information

We use information only to provide and improve the service, respond to your messages, send the launch notification you requested, and as required by law. We do not sell your personal information.

Third-party services

Our site may load content from third parties such as fonts. Those providers may collect or receive information as described in their own privacy policies. App store platforms handle distribution and payments under their terms.

Children

ActivityShuffle is aimed at families and caregivers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have received such information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Data retention

Waitlist emails are kept until we send the launch notice (and for a short period afterward for support) or until you ask us to remove them. App data on your device remains until you delete it or remove the app (subject to your device backups). Support emails are retained as long as needed to respond and operate the service.

Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the latest version. Continued use of the site or app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
